multiple leather items tanned based on skin size. jeweler jobs are no longer weird - there are generic jobs and you can specify materials in the details. site finder can now search for sand and specific metals. fixed some bits where tiles tore through the interface. sieges and goblin thong rot has stabilized. got music and ambiences to stream off the disk (the amount of audio has grown so amazing that it was taking up more than a gig in memory ha ha, now it's much smaller). mouse wheel now works on all scroll bars. a special alert pops up for the most important messages to make them harder to miss, including a new "no food" warning. all the audio is in, including a new 7(!) minute title track. all of the art except a few buildings and seven creatures are in, so much good stuff. Lemme go refresh my memory as to what has occurred this month.

Honestly? I find the ASCII to look quite decent.

So, I ask you fellow redditors and DF players, jave you encountered a mod that provides clean graphics in an isometric view (hell, even top down view) that works seamlessly with the game and has a better GUI (more intuitive, less tiring)? I want to play the FUCK out of this game, but without visual stimulus, the things I will build will just not feel that good. I really do long for a rimworld style GUI. Then there's the case of the GUI being difficult to use and not so intuitive. I am not one to really care about graphics, but I do draw a line somewhere. I know that stonesense exists and provides an isometric view in the game, but the graphics there are even worse than tilesets everything just seems so.ugly. The thing is, the graphics make my eyes bleed, not just the ascii ones, even the tilesets like spacefox are tiring to the eye. Let me start by saying that I LOVE the idea behind this game. I know that this has been asked before, but this post is part question, part rant.
